First Miss Himalaya Global coming soon!

The first Miss Himalaya Global is being planned in New York City, as there is a vibrant Himalayan community in the US, particularly in New York City. The Pageant will be produced by Lobsang Wangyal Productions in partnership with another events producer. The idea was conceived in summer 2018, but difficulties with the logistics, and then the coming of the pandemic, caused us to defer production of the event.

As now the coronavirus finally seemed to be slowing down, and the days are becoming normal, we envisage producing the inaugural Miss Himalaya Global in the summer of 2024.

The Pageant is made as a platform for young Himalayan women from everywhere, and for bringing the Himalayan community together. Any Himalayan woman (except from India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet), fulfilling the criteria, could register to participate in the Miss Himalaya Global Pageant. Women from India, Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet could participate in the Miss Himalaya Pageant.

The event is in the developing stage at the moment. We will post more as and when we have more details.
